So why the blog?

Hello, and welcome to the official blog for X-Aviation! More specifically, this will be a place to hear thoughts on X-Aviation and X-Plane’s future in my own view. I will also discuss ongoing project developments, hurdles we face in the X-Plane community, and what X-Aviation is all about.

There is more than meets the eye to X-Aviation. There is a long standing vision between myself as the owner and operator, and from those who release their products on this site. We all share a passion, a never ending dream to push forward and be the best at what we do, but only doing what we love.

Lastly, this blog will serve as a way for me to engage with you. X-Aviation would not be where it is today without you, and I, as well as all the others involved, certainly appreciate your continued support as we move forward with bar raising products time and time again. I look forward to hearing from each and every one of you who choose to participate (good or bad), and am committed to making X-Aviation an even better store than it is today.

Welcome to the X-Aviation Blog!

  1. With XP-10 to be released around Christmas, there’s one part of the sim I have not seen any new information about.

    Mesh & Texture Updates

Any insider info on if there’s going to be an upgrade?
    Thanks,

  2. Hi, Ed,

Stay tuned for things regarding this subject! I have thought heavily about what I can and cannot say regarding X-Plane 10, but as a current user of X-Plane 10 I’m sure I can muster something up in due time!

      • Cameron,
After posting this question to you, Ben posted about AA and such on his blog, I asked this question there and he confirmed there will be updated LandClass, textures and such.

Now my only concern will be whether to go to a 6-core update with speed in a HW update!

Looking forward to your comments and hopefully soon some screens.
